Now in the Pacific Northwest there are already 42 new stores with a cigarette machine. As far as I know all the stores are showing significant growth and repurchasing machines for the same location. These cigarette machines roll a carton of cigarettes in 8 minutes! A maximum of about 60 cartons a day! Average profit per carton 20$, do the math. That’s a profit of 1200.00.

As we have mentioned in other posts Tobacco Joe has had a great start and success (See Below) with his Shop in Everett WA. Since business has been so great he just brought in another cigarette machine for the same location, Go Tobacco Joe!

October was another month of growth for Tobacco Joes. Our customers made 1006 boxes of smokes resulting in a daily average of 32.45/boxes per day. This represents a 9% growth in the number of boxes made and 2% growth in the rate per day. Personally, I was looking for more growth than this but I am happy to see growth continue for my store. Profits remain very strong.
I took delivery of my 2nd machine during the last week of the month and it is truly rewarding, and remarkable, to see both machines running at the same time. This will reduce waiting times and allow for increases in productivity in the store in coming months. I have decided to increase my advertising budget in order to support the addition of the 2nd machine.
October also saw the birth of our first duplication; Tobacco Alley in Snohomish. This store has already reached daily targets in the upper teens and is off to a good start. Our 2nd outgrowth occurs today in Lakewood with a Shell gas station/mini mart receiving their first machine. In addition, our Bellingham partner is opening their doors for business this week Thursday, thereby bringing the total number of locations with the RYO Filling Station to 4 by the end of the week. I have also taken deposits for Bremerton and Renton so the growth is continuing on the distribution side as well.

We are approaching our 2 month mark on Sept 9th, but meanwhile, we are monitoring interim results. This week we saw continued growth with both repeat customers and new customers. Growth has slowed down somewhat but we are still making progress. The purchase of the 2nd machine will therefore be delayed until the numbers show a consistent need for the new investment. The base business in August is finishing the month in the mid twenties per day, well above the 18/day projection for month 2. We will certainly exceed 700+ cartons for the month. The daily average needs to be in the mid/upper 20′s for at least a couple of weeks before I will be inclined to order a 2nd machine. This is expected to occur after the Labor day holiday.
